Dots & Clouds collects no data about you. Nothing you do in it is sent anywhere: there are no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking.

Camera

The selfie camera shows your video live in its bubble on your screen. It isn’t recorded, saved or sent. macOS asks for your permission before the camera turns on, and you can change that in System Settings › Privacy & Security › Camera.

Tasks, drawings and the whiteboard

Your tasks and the whiteboard are saved on your Mac, inside the app’s own container, so they’re there next time. Drawings on the screen are cleared when the pen closes.

Clipboard

The clipboard dot keeps your last five copies, text or images, on your Mac so you can copy them again. It skips anything an app marks as private, like passwords from a password manager. macOS asks before Dots & Clouds can read what other apps copy. You can delete any saved copy in the app, and turning the clipboard dot off stops it from saving new ones.

Deleting your data

Everything the app keeps lives in its container on your Mac. Deleting the app deletes all of it.
